Default Drag Z bars & dummy lights

Soo i got my bars on me and my and friend wired'em up now im just trying to figure out the dummy lights i am only keeping the nuetral light and i want to connect a light that pops on when im in neutral to glow under the bars instead of having a green N...so i got this L.e.d light from autozone to try and for some reason it is not working correctly...weve tested every wire connecting to the dummy lights found the neutral one and for some reason its not working...we think it may be because its an led but at this point i want it done so i need info...

That light gets ground thru neutral switch. If this LED you got works with 12 V just provide 12 V to it and use switch wire as ground.
