Default LED auxiliary spot lights...

Has anyone mounted LED auxiliary light for more lighting and to be seen better?
Where are some places you mounted them?
Did you use round, square, or a straight bar?
Pictures would be great.
Thanks.

I went the easy way and installed Trucklite P-7s in my factory passing lamps.

I didn't go LED, but went crazy spotlights anyways. I started with 100w KC Daylighters but knocked them down to 55w halogen bulbs. Mounted them on the crash bars, and wired them into the left cowl switch. Stupid bright none the less.

A wall of light. The old lady could tan in front of that.

I got these for my Road Glide on Amazon:
http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ilpage_o07_s01
I made up some brackets that mount off the front turn signal mounts. I work in a sheet metal shop, so that helped. :-)

I got this deutsch plug kit on Amazon too:
http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ilpage_o04_s00
I wired it to the accessory switch plug under the front of the seat, works like a champ.

I'm pretty happy with the improvement, real happy with the price. They're floods, so they fill and brighten the areas closer to the bike, rather than sending a beam of light further up the road. Along with the Osram Rallye 70/65w H4 bulbs from Candlepower, I'm seeing things a lot better at 5AM when I head to work.

Would not be hard to build a bracket off of the front calipers.

No, it wouldn't, but these might be a bit large to mount them there. They're bigger than the Motolights and similar lights that are mounted off the calipers or fork legs.

Another Trucklite Phase 7 fan and have all 3 up front but that is because I enjoy riding at night and that is where they make the biggest difference. Honestly the stock incandescent lights are more easily seen in the daytime from oncoming traffic. Conversely, you could always go phase 7 and add an illuminated trim ring that would help considerably. This is all just my own opinion and have had almost any light on the market including HD branded Daymakers. Another option but like all HD stuff, pricey.
