Do the Wave.
I was just wondering everyones opinion on wave style rotors. Iv read a lot about them, from what I can tell they only really perform their absolute best under extreme braking. I assume thats why they use them in racing. I am probably wrong though. I want to put some on my Nightster, cause I think that would look sick but I dont want to sacrafice performance or safety for looks. I like to just put put around, Im not really a GP Moto racer on the street. Let me know what yall think about these.
They look pretty cool. Dont know anything else about them. I can tell you that my mountain bike had similar style rotors and they were this way to maximize braking power which is essential in mountain bike riding. I would assume the same goes for these..
I think the only benefit of a wave style rotor is the reduction in unsprung weight. Now a drilled and slotted wave rotor will also dissipate heat better, which will give you better braking performance, less fade. Where did you find a wave style rotor to fit a sportster?

yeah they prolly dissipate heat a lot better as powerstroke put it but not so sure you need something like that to stop a nightster. i run sun slotted rotors on my track bike and they stop like no other but you're talkin breaking from speeds over 160 at times.
