I used a 1/2 drill bit when I bored out my clip-ons...took forever, but I got them there.

no mods...an 18 fits like a glove. a 160 will fit. The metzeler fit with about 3/4-1" gap between tire and belt.

You didn't specify if you were going to internally wire or just looking to put bar-end mirrors on. Also, there are many styles of bars so even if I could assume you were internally wiring it could change where you have to drill. Don't get all excited.

so potatos is a good answer to a question?

how would the style of bars change the drill? no one else had any trouble answering the question. maybe you should try not to be such a smart ***.

Because different bars have different center points where it meets the risers. Are you somehow implying that drilling drag bars is the same as drilling clip-ons?

If i was referring to clip ons I would have stated...." I need to drill my CLIP ONS"

But as you can see by the responses I got from people who actually enjoy helping, I got the answers I needed. None of them had any problem answering my very simple question. Last post on this stupid stupid topic.

You didn't say "I need to drill my DRAG BARS" or "I need to drill my APE HANGERS", etc.

I imagine the remainder of the posters assumed you just meant the bars you already have on. I'm not usually one to assume so I was hoping you would just provide the required information to allow us to assist more accurately.

If you can't take a joke that wasn't even offensive, perhaps the whole Internet experience isn't really for you.

I'm sorry you took offense to my apparently horrible attempt at humour.
