I love my 48 because it's a ton of fun around the city. I've ridden many different bikes, big and small, and my 48 is bar none the funnest for a busy city. And the look...well...that's just a bonus So why did you end up buying a sporty?

 

I saw the 48 and it was like the first time I saw my wife....my jaw hit the floor and I just stared at it with a dumb look on my face. It was love at first sight. I love this bike !!!

 

There's just something about a sporty the bigger bikes ain't got.

 

Something about it just felt right. I can't explain it.

 

My 1st Harley('80 Low Rider) was stolen. I like all the Harleys for different reasons. I think that the Sportsters look the best and there is just something about them. The '82 I was sitting on was priced so I could pay cash. This particular Sporty was an "Audit" bike. As soon as I found that out I put a deposit on it. Wife hated it but we out weighed the bike. I would have loved to be able to get a bike for us, and the Sporty for me. If I could ride now I'd get a Nightster just for me.

After not riding for 25 years, got a great deal on a lightly used 1200C, it was what I could afford.
It was a great choice to get back into riding, and I am looking to get a Heritage as well.

 

Bcuz I didn't have enuf cash in my pocket for a Softtail but I'm still saving my allowance money lol

 

aaron...i know the feeling. the first time i saw the 48 i woildnt get off it.

 

because i have a mangina

 

they're the only Harleys I like. the others just aren't my style.
