Default newb handlebar/cable question...

i just bought a pair of 12 in Z bars to put on my 2011 iron...im using 2 in pull back risers....when buying a cable kit...do i buy a 12 in cable kit or a 14in kit??? i kno it sounds stupid but just want 2 make sure lol

another thing is which cable kit should i go with...so far ive seen the BURLEY ones and the ROAD 6 customs...

all the help would be greatly appreciated

Most of those cable kits are waaay overpriced IMO. There is a forum called ape hangers revolution. You can find it here.

There is a guy named Tim B on there that gets everyone their cables directly through barnett for cheap. He can tell you exactly what setup you need and he will quote you a shipped price right on the forum. I put 16" apes on my old bike and he hooked me up with everything I needed really cheap compaired to what I would have payed for most of the kits.

Most of the guys on there have metric bikes, but there are some Harleys too and Tim B can help you.

Just sign up and make a new post in the general section saying you need advice and a quote on cables. Tim will respond.
