Default Cable length for Wild 1 Chubbys

I just ordered Wild 1 Chubby 16" apes off of amazon for $170. I'm going to be ordering the wire extension kit off of namz.com, I'm assuming the +8 is what I need. Unless people think that soldering is better or can offer any other/better ideas.

I have also been looking into cable kits, burly doesn't have a kit for my model and LA customs seemed a little steep in price. I don't NEED a clutch cable since I'm getting the LaBriola kit in shortly, but I would like to have the option to switch back so I'm going to order one anyway. For the Clutch, throttle, idle, and brake cables, does anyone have any recommendations/places to get a kit?

I was looking at Magnum Shielding but I also don't know what length I would need.

Summary: 16" wild 1 chubby with 1 1/4" rise...namz.com wire extension (good quality?) +8?.......cable kit/what lengths?

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

When I ordered my Chubby 14's I called Wild Ones and they gave me the cable lengths.

Were they accurate in their info? A buddy of mine is looking for cable lengths for his 16" chubby bars

You really can't go wrong with the extensions. They make life a bit more easy.
Soldering is fine as long as you don't have a newer bike with Canbus wiring.

When I did my Wild 1's 12 inch apes on a 1 inch riser it was +4. Everything fit fine. So your +8 sounds correct.

I'd solder the crimp together connectors to ensure they do not come apart while pulling them through the bars. Heat shrink over the top of the solder.
