Default santee apes

looking at a set of 16" santee apes from jp cycles, part number 500-999. anyone use these? I am also going to get the 16" burly kit for my cables and all. any advice would be appreciated.

dont waste your money on the burley cable kit. my clutch cable was jerkey, throttle cables were too long, clutch was a little short a long with the brake cable. all in all its just a cheap crapy kit

Thanks for the advice! I think I will just measure and buy the appropriate Motion Pro cables or another reputable brand. Anyone have anything bad to say about the bars?

the powder coat on the santee bars is crap, mine flaked off just by taking off the packaging crap. went back to my 10in T-bars and never been happier

That sucks...I have not had any problems with mine. I have the 14" 1 1/4" apes from Santee in gloss black. The powder coat is shiny and smooth. I have not had any issues with them.

I got a 18" narrow apes and cables from Hill country custom Cycles in chrome, they look amazing, I'm just running cables tonight, should have some pictures up tomorrow.
