Was thinking of getting this kit too, was wondering how it is 2up if they handle the weight good. Any one riding 2up? any problems?

I will have to look at how to adjust the preload but my GF and I tried 2up around the block...we bottomed out every 10 sec.

For a Nightster or 48 the difference isn't big enough however, any Sportster that has longer shocks such as a Custom or other will have to change kickstand.

Check out my thread for a few pics and details https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...installed.html

As for two-up riding, I haven't had her on the back since I installed the kit. I would not go back to stock shocks if you paid me. I did have to get a shorter jiffy so that the bike would not tip over when parked (details in my thread). I have had to rig up a few 2X4 blocks to get my lift under it too.

Thanks Spraynbuckshot !
Great thread on the Slammer.
It pretty much answered all of my questions.
I'll pay extra attention to the jiffy.
You would love my A/C cover, check it out.
