Default Is the Brake/Clutch Levers Adjustable?

Hi Everyone!

I'm looking at a 2011 Sportster 1200 Low and would like to purchase it.

My main problem was that I'm short with small hands...and was having a hard time with the brake and clutch levers.

Can these levers be adjusted? If not, is there an aftermarket levers that I can install?

Thank you.

Adjusted as in how? You can adjust the cables for different amounts of grab on the clutch, the brake is pretty much what you get because without a master cylinder replacement you could lose brake if you mess with it.

You could replace the levers completely with some aftermarket ones that are more to your liking and ergonomics.

The problem you run into in making them closer and hence easier to reach, is that you limit the length of travel.

You can adjust/change pretty much everything on a motorcycle. There are a lot of aftermarket solutions (either look for websites with bolt on parts, or go on eBay and search for levers).

OP, from what I read, you can reach the levers but are having a hard time pulling them - correct? You can try something like an MRC clutch release mechanism (just google it), an E-z Clutch assist, or a Burley Lite Clutch. The brake is hydraulic and can't really be adjusted. If you're having an issue reaching them, then it would behoove you to look at a set of aftermarket levers which sit closer to you.
