Left them where they were,with the tank lift under the tank and when i dropped the tank again i put them back in the plastic housing.

 

You could get a headlight form a 2004-2009 XLC with the mount since it mounts to the lower tree and does not have the eyebrow. You will have to drill a hole in the lower tree, but no all that big of a deal. I still have the eyebrow, but moved my speedo and tach mount to the eyeborw hole to drop them down some and it look much batter. I just had to use 1.5" chome spacers and longer bolts. Total cost was like $7.00 at Lowes. I did not ever have to file anything-it all lined up.
