Bridgestone Spitfire Vs. Pirelli Sport Demon Vs. Metzeler 880
Yes yes yes another tire thread and I know most people on here love the Metzeler..
Does anyone have any thoughts on the other two tires? I am looking for something with lettering on them. The metzeler shows raised white lettering on the pictures I have seen actually so does the Pirelli, but i don't know much about the spitfires...

Maybe I am alone but I was not impressed with the Metzeler. On my VStar, I ran the stock Bridgestone until it was slick at about 8k miles and put on the 880. Maybe I was expecting too much but I was not impressed. The 880 did ride the open rode better but if you hit a puddle on a slow turn, it would slide around. I had less confidence in the wet with it than the Bridgestone.
