Default tires

Can I put Dunlop D404 metric cruiser tires on my Sporty front and rear?

Go to Dunlop's bike tire website, where you can put in the details of your bike and get their recommendations. You will probably find they recommend D401 or American Elite. As they say on their website: The D404 is not meant to be used on Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Get some Pirelli Night Dragons, such a better tire than the D401. I got both for $200 delivered after $40 rebate. So much better ride and cornering, like night and day IMO.

Im getting ready order a set today. When you ordered from JW, how long did it take to get your goods? I think we ordered at about the same time back in April

I've always bought from bikebandit.com. usually the next day or two days. But, now jw has bb beat on price. $328 to $348. Is a andrew jackson worth delays....

I get all my tires from Jake Wilson; 2 -3 days, tops. I usually have the shipping notice with tracking info within 3 hours of placing the order. Last order of Night Dragons was ordered on a Thursday afternoon, on my doorstep Saturday morning...

Two days as I recall. They were super to work with, even put in for my rebate card at time of purchase, so I didn't have to send in any labels or receipts. Rebate card took about 2 months, but it paid for the gas on a trip to Mammoth!

I believe that recommendation is due to the weight of "full size" Harley's. Check the load rating and I bet they are just fine on a Sportster.
