Hello. first time posting here, but i've been lurking for a couple of weeks, trying to learn about my new to me 97 1200c. i've started doing the maintenance on the bike. it has 16kmi on it. i changed the tranny fluid with mobil 1 75-90w. also changed motor oil. here's the thing, when i'm downshifting from 5th to 4th, it acts like the shift return spring is weak, and it doesn't want to snap back up. the other gears are all fine. also, every now and then, it doesn't engage from 5th to 4th, and will grind/ratchet until i step on it again. i've owned a bunch of metric bikes, this is my first harley. thanks for listening.
