Default Anyone relocate headlight on Iron? New bracket?

I'm not a fan of the headlight visor on the Iron. Anyone find a cheap bracket that lifts the stock headlight? I heard that you may have to flip headlight and use a bracket. Dying to here and see what people are doin to make their Iron look like a bobber.

I bought this http://www.retrocycle.com/CustomChro..._Brackets.html

Thinking about removing headlight and brow, mounting this with spacer under the upper tree, flipping the headlight and mounting to bracket, should put it behind/below the speedo.

Let me know how it works out and post a few pics...I was also looking at picking one of those up, just to mess around with this winter to see if I could come up with something I liked.

Anybody try one of the headlight brackets? Like to see it in action before I go ahead and buy one.

As it turns out it is too wide. I thought I would be able to put it under the upper tree with spacers where the stock brow is but it wont fit as is, it wont go between the forks.
even though the bolt holes are slotted they are about 1/2 a hole off at the narrowest part of the slot. Mine is in the bottom of my tool box.

Hey Barry hate to ask about an old post but which bracket did not work? I am trying to relocate my headlight and saw the one on E-bay but I am not sure it will work with my stock gauges?

You can try DK Customs Headlight relocation bracket...infinitely adjustable. Used it with an aftermarket headlight when I removed the stock headlight and brow.

There are tons of ideas and pics in the following two threads on how to make your Iron look like a bobber.
