Check out this website. Enter your bike year and model. If the parts are available they will show up here.

My needle fell off the little shaft under the glass of all things. The only way to get to it was to little by little pry off the stainless ring that holds the glass in place . The stainless ring is swedged on but it is kinda soft and stretchy. You can work it off and then remove the glass. then you can carefully use some padding over your tool and work the edge of the ring back down over the glass. If you are very careful a casual look wouldn't spot the tool marks if you work the bottom edge of the ring. Try ebay for a donor speedo. The dealer wants $500 for a new correct speedo for my bike.

TY for the responses. I don't think I'll spend $500. I'll find a used speedo and put my guts in it.

The sensor down in the back of the engine crankcase-trans reads the teeth of fifth gear whizzing past so the speedo your getting would have to come off a bike that had the same number of fifth gear teeth as yours in order to be accurate, I would think.

For instance, I know that an 883 has different gearing than a 1200.
