1250 kit VS warranty??

1250 kit VS warranty??
Ok, I've had my IRON 883 for a while now and have been really wanting the 1250 kit from NRHS.
I know it will void my warranty...should I be worried???
How many of y'all have done this with no worries about the warranty??
Or are you waiting for it to expire before doing it??
I just can't make up my mind.
I love my IRON, but it would be sweeter with a 1250.
I don't haul *** around town or anything, but a little extra get up on the Interstate could be helpful.
Thoughts????

As said above all of your warranty is still valid except for parts that you replace and we have sold over 1,000 of the 1250 kits in the past 5 years with only a few failures that were actually due to improper tuning (igntition too far advanced) not the parts themselves. So as long as you get it tuned properly you should have nothing to worry about.
I have NO financial interest in NRHS, nor do I know anybody there, except for their helpful advice over the phone. I have the 1250 kit, and I would go for it. Only problem is you might need to upgrade that crappy stock clutch. After the break in miles on my 1250, the first time I gave it a good twist...it smoked the stock clutch. That is NO longer a problem.
Oh, and I should mention that was the second clutch, and it was kinda on it's last leg anyway. That stock clutch REALLY sucks if you plan to put more than 20,000 miles on a Sporty. You can do a search on here, and see some my my clutch problems, pictures and explanations of the **** poor design.

Yes, some dealers might try to tell you the warranty is void, but there is a little Federal law...Magnum-Moss I believe is the law, that will kinda overrule anything a dealer says.

And with your 1250 kit, they can claim that it stressed the clutch for more than it was designed for and thus YOUR fault. After all, I never sold you a 1250 so why should I be responsible for how it works or breaks your ride? Fair is fair.
That said, I do agree with NRHS that if they designed the kit well and your tuning is good, it should be fine. That said, if you think I am going to be afraid to mod the vehicle, you would be wrong. I have to be willing to take the risks as they might be. If you wanna play, you got to be prepared to pay. It is that simple. If you are not willing to pay, don't play.
