longer cables is the only, and it looks like the forum suggests just the break line.
Do Not let them push you around for being a chickrider. you are smart enough to get a new opinion here and you can take that to them. You are the customer and CAN get what you want.
Try getting to know the tech who will be wrenching on your bike. Then search these threads long before you go to the dealer for your project, so that you can be more prepared for the lingo that they will be dropping at you.
So they only extra I really needed was some longer cables right? which ones were removed? how much difference in length from the old break cable to the new one? you are giving me the parts that you removed right?
Go get em girl.

If thats true thats bull ****!. Is it at SMHD. One of my students ran into a Prius on Johnsen so we took it to SMHD and the tech looking at the bike had no clue what needed to be done so now he's tackling it himself. Good luck.

Here is a pic of mine (yours should look the same)

The hose on the right underside of the bar, with the white stripe can be changed. You cant get an extra 6" out of that hose unless you disconnect it from its mounting taps and straighten the hard line that comes from the caliper to the rubber line

If you are not happy with your experience at HD. There are two good indy's in atascadero. Two wheels and Vicious cycles. Both are honest and do good work.
