Default Sissy bar height

I'm looking to get a sissy bar but I'm not sure on a height. Can you guys post up some pics of your bikes with sissy bars and list the height of them?

I think I like the black quick detach one from Harley but want to see some options

Thanks

Mine is 25" from the top of the fender to the tip of the bar.

I know you made your Aaron. Have you put a passenger on it? I want a tallish one that will hold a person and a bag for when I'm solo. I could make one I think if I could find access to the tools. Also what kinda stock did you use?

The quick detach doesn't look bad. Probably will be my best bet I think in terms of cost.

If you buy the HD bar, you need to get the quick detach docking hardware if you want it removable. Here is the part numbers for the bar and hardware.
sissy bar: 51146-10 $199
docking hardware: 53529-04 $40

That is the stock 5 3/4" 48 headlight with a FLHST bezel that I powder coated black. Originally was chrome. Not on my bike anymore, I now have a 7" fatboy light on my bike now.

Hopefully my avatar pic will help...the sissy bar is 20" and I found both the bar and passenger backrest pad on eBay as a package deal for $80. I already had the quick detach hardware.

Do you have to do any drilling for that hd sissy bar? Does hd have it in chrome too?
