Default Last year 1200R produced?

Can anyone tell me the last year the 1200R was in production? 2007 is what I come up with so far.

Snap decision and I bought the damn thing. Thinking it will be a good one to tuck back...should hold it's value well if left unmolested.

Btw, I found 2008 was the last year for the 1200R. It sported a larger tank which to me looked out of place on the bike. I think I made a decent buy on a superb version of a Sportster.

Default 2009 1200r

I have a 2009 1200r. Harley still makes em', they just don't sell em' in the states. I'm stationed in Thailand, and mine was imported from Japan, but built in USA. I still don't understand why, but it is. Just like the Ford t6, the first "world version" pickup 3.2 diesel, 4 door, 4 wheel drive, a hair bigger than the Ranger, awesome truck, for sale everywhere other than the states. Go figure.

Well, we are both home now. Left for work at 2:00 pm Thursday and drove around until 11:30 pm...went home, picked up a few items and left out for MO at 12:30 am arriving around 8:30 am Friday. Picked up the bike and left out at 10:am arriving back home at 5:30 pm...939 total miles. By my math I had been driving for 26 hours straight...awake for even longer. I will not be doing this again. Bike is in excellent condition with 7030 miles showing on the odometer.

Here is the Tripper seat off the 883...whadaya think? The backrest is certainly coming off.

Beginning to take shape with an air cleaner swap...next up is the exhaust system. New tires/brake pads next week.

Haha! Simple bolt-on parts I have lying around...nothing like the 883 build.
