Default tc88a

Has anyone here ever mapped a tc88a for a 10.5:1cr motor.
I have a 05 xl883c that I have done some major work to and I am having trouble getting it not to ping.
Here is what I have....
05 (XL883c) Buellster now
T-storm heads
T-storm pistons
10.5:1 cr
SE .536 cams
roller rockers
SE intake
SE slip-on exhaust
tc88a ignition module
1200 transmission final drive sprocket
any help would be great.
Thanks,
~Asar

Welcome to HDF from the UK. Peering through the gloom across the Atlantic I see that Daytona has a stack of useful looking stuff on their website, including this page. It suggests that ignition timing may be your problem. Have you tried adjusting it a little?

The first question is have you started the process by installing a Sportster map? The TC88A comes mapped for a Twin Cam motor and it's not a good place to start from for tuning a EVO motor.

I have several maps that I could e-mail you if you have the programming software and cable.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I did know that the tc88a comes with a big twin map.
I have loaded a few maps from other people with no luck getting rid of the pinging.
So I am reaching out to everyone that I can for help with this.
I would love to get any maps that you have to help me with figuring out a map for this bike. In the least with enough information I should be able to make my own map.
I will pm you with my e-mail so you can send me some maps.
Thanks,
~Asar
