Pipes with no O2 bungs? 48
So just got a new pair of custom pipes and immediately noticed they dont have the ports for the O2 sensors. Can I run it without O2 sensors plugged in, or do I need to get an exhaust shop to install ports? Its a 2011 Forty Eight with a V&H fuel pak. I keep getting conflicting advice. Thanks

Alot of aftermarket pipes are labeled to fit 04 and newer. As they will physically fit on the bike, 07 and newer have o2 sensors. If you can find pipes labled for 07 and newer they should have the sensor bungs installed. In your case you just need to have the bungs welded on. Any exhaust shop or auto parts store should carry the bungs for like $2.50 each. All that needs done is drill a 7/8 inch hole and have them mig-welded on. I just installed some cheap pipes on an 07 sportster the other day and just went through the same thing.

My Exotic Chopper pipes don't have O2 sensors in them or baffles. I have the Dynojet Power Commander V though that came with the O2 optimizers that plug into the O2 sensor harnesses and by-passes/eliminates the O2's. Been running my bike for over 7,000 miles that way and haven't had any issues. I also had it dyno tuned to make it run at it's finest through out the whole power band/gears.
