Default Nightster with visor, too Sons of Anarchy?

I was actually looking to replace the stock handlebar with something different on my Nightster (european version which is a little taller in the back than the US one), because I don't like the whole 'looks like a bulls horns' thing.

I thought about getting a drag bar but to me the fork seems a little too slim to make that work, so I was browsing the web and found a few pictures of nightsters with the harley visor on them.

I kinda like how that changes the face of the bike but I don't know if it wouldn't look too much like a SoA wanabe.

What do you think about the visor? Or putting a drag bar on a Nightster?

I think if you like the look then go for it! It is your bike and you are the only person that has to be happy with it. Buy mods for function or looks doesn't really matter as long as you like it.

Agreed. You have to do what you like. You ride it. You're payin for it. Best of luck.

I love drag bars. On a Nightster, I love clip ons even more. But, you do lose comfort...

Here is a pic of mine with drag bars. I like the look and and they are awesome around town, but not the greatest for long distance rides. I am moving up to 10" Z bars for better comfort on longer rides.

If you really want the SoA look, you should put t-bars with the visor. And who cares that it looks like SoA if that is what you like?

I just did a big facelift on my bike over the winter and went with a full 1/4 fairing because I've been a fan of that look for years. The thing that people need to realize is that the Cali/Club/Outlaw -style was what the producers of SOA decided to base the clubs bikes on. So if you like the style, screw what everyone else thinks... That's what I did.

Long after that show is off the air and people forget all about it, the style will still be around.

Exactly what T said. The power club around my area and in the SF bay area were running that look forever. When I finally got out of college that's the style I wanted on my bike. SoA producers liked the look too and used it, now that's what people think when they see it. It's a good profiling thing though, anytime someone asks if you did it Bc of SoA you know they don't know where it really came from
