Does anyone know where I can get the connector that ties the wiring harness to the ignition module on a 93 sportster. I don't need the ignition module side of it, just the wiring harness side.

Welcome, good question to start with. Always wondered about that myself. I've got a 1991, so wire harness is similar if not the same.

I know that there are thousands (if not millions) of electrical plug connectors, must be job security for wiring design engineers.

If you can figure out the name of the connector (I've heard the name Deutsch, although I'm not sure of the reason for the name or if I am correct}. Some obscure Harley engineer must have decided what to use from an electrical wholesaler's catalog, it sure is not rocket science.
Just have to put pins or sockets on, have no idea how easy that might be. My bike has intact original wiring.

Do some googling, learn something new, and tell us what you found.

I've been looking for a few days now. and the only thing I have found is the plug in other parts. Like a new wiring harness, the dyna 2000 adapter, and an hd ignition wiring harness. I have not been able to find the plug by itself anywhere.

 

what are you looking for exactly, is it the plug and the pins, or the whole harness??? a picture would help...the plug is easy enough to get from any electrical supply store although it is a pain to crimp the wires onto the pins..

So you just need the connector at the end of the wire harness? You need it to connect to the ignition module only, right?

I don't think you need the adapter as suggested above. Show us what the ignition module end looks like and I'm sure you can find an answer.

Male or female end, it should be available somewhere, don't give up, grasshopper.
