A little help?
I have a 2011 Sporty Iron thats been converted to 1200 with the kit, has a S&S breather on it for EFI bikes, drag pipes, and a power commander. I rode the bike to family's house this Friday, which was about 180 miles one way. On the way there, the bike ran great. The next time I rode it was coming home on Sunday. I filled up the tank before I left town, and made it about 20 miles when the bike started "surging" in 4th and 5th gear during acceleration. Im no mechanic, but it felt like the EFI was off in the amounts of fuel it was putting into the engine. Then, towards the end of the trip, it started doing in even when I was just cruising at a steady pace. I have been getting a P0562 trouble code, meaning low voltage, but I charged the battery for several hours on a trickle charger. Any one have any advice? I'm thinking maybe bad gas, or perhaps the PC isn't getting enough power to regulate? Again, im not a mechanic. Ive also heard suggested maybe vapor lock or a bad coil? How would I know?
I appreciate any help.

If you are getting an error code, solve that first! Low voltage could mean the charging system is having problems and when voltage drops you can get the very symptoms you describe. EFI bikes of all brands are not tolerant of low voltage, unlike older bikes.
If you're not a mechanic, get your bike to a dealer or indy to check on that code and your charging system. Charging the battery up should get you there safely, on shorter trips. If you fancy becoming a mechanic, go to the DIY Electrical section here on HDF, where you will see two Stickys on checking your charging system.
You also need a multi-meter and should get the factory service manual and diagnostics manual.
