Default Iron fuel gauge?

Tired of guessing if I have an empty tank or not, if there an aftermarket or some type of fuel gauge indicator for my Iron?

Thanks for the help~

Harley makes one! It's a separate unit.....

There are speedos that have this feature built in too, however you still have to buy the sensor kit.

Good luck!

My trip odometer is a great fuel gauge, just remember to reset when you fuel. My bike gets 50mpg pretty much all the time, so it's easy to track.

The fuel guage on my bike is so inacurate, if it wasn't there, I wouldn't miss it. I use the trip meter.

That low brow gauge would be sick.... If only I wouldn't have to reprint I'd do it!

My Iron is not an 883, but a 1200 with Wood cams and a few other goodies so I'm not sure exactly what MPG's I'm getting... So I'm always running a lil nervous.. I know I have a 3.3 tank so a good estimate would be ??? given the specs of my bike?

Fill up bike. Ride 50 miles. Fill up bike. Look at gallons on pump. Get out smart phone. Open calculator app. Divide miles by gallons pumped. Multiply by 3 and thats a safe max range for bike. Highway miles will be different than city miles. Reset trip odometer every fill up. Do not exceed miles on trip odometer of range you calulated for your bike with you riding it. No two bike rider combos will be the same.

Don't even bother.

TONS of problems with the HD drop in fuel gauge kit.

I always get 96 miles to the E light, and then another 40 miles until it sputters.

Just fill up every 90-100 miles and you are good to go.
