Default Which seat to get?

Hi all. I'm looking for a new seat for my 2013 iron. Needs to be 2 up but I'm stuck between a mustang and a Corbin gunfighter and lady. Have badlander now and it sucks to say the least. Anyone have experience with these two? I've also looked at a hd sundowner but I'm not sure if it would be comfortable enough for the lady. We do 4+hr rides at a time all spring summer long. Any I out is greatly appreciated

One of the problems with HDF is that we don't get many passengers commenting on their riding experiences. Bear in mind that as we can swap seats easily, say from solo to duo, we can have as many of them as we like, to match mood, journey, passenger, etc.

Frankly if you want a passenger to ride with you regularly then buy a super comfy seat! Function matters far more than style, especially if your passenger is new to the riding experience. Get a Mustang wide touring or HD Sundowner, probably the most popular seats in here.

My wife would kill me if I traded the Sundowner in favor of something more 'stylish'. True story, she's fallen asleep on it. 'Eek'! If keeping her comfortable is high on your must have list. The Sundowner will not disappoint.

Man, I'm glad to hear that. I just put a Sundowner on my WG for that reason, keeping the ol lady comfy, lol. When I bought the bike, I put the HD "Reacher" seat on (for short legged fellows lol) which the HD reps said was "just like the SD, but with an extra inch of padding behind the rider".... BS! Nowhere close! The Sundowner looks to be like the seat that was on the Sporty I bought before the WG, and she really liked it, so I'm counting on the SD keeping her happy.
Now I think I'll look for a solo for other times.

Thanks guys, I'm going for comfort way over style. With the badlander it's rough on my back and rough on her butt. I've got a tall sissy bar with a fatboy backrest so she can lean back in comfort but the current seat is what kills us. Thanks again
