Nice. I like stainless too. I want to see them installed!

On my list, but have to sort out the "play" in my front end first. I suspect stem bearings need to be replaced. Intimidated by that...

Cool! It's not that the 587 does not flow more air than the engine can ingest...it's that the patented 636v tech speeds up the flow of the air and jams more in the combustion chambers.

Have fun!

Chrome or Black Bolt Covers are a nice way to go to clean up the look of the fasteners, but these are the real way to go...a bit more expensive, but something I am probably going to do on the SBS Sportster Chop.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm sure I can handle it, just first time doing anything new makes me nervous. I'm still relatively new to wrenching, and since I have to work outside (no garage and shed only big enough to store the bike) I have to be sure I can start/finish same day so it's not sitting outside in pieces.

I started a thread: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...have-them.html
but with a bad title now that I know I don't have bushings. I'll have to make a new one.

Thanks! Today I installed the stainless primary case bolts. Its
going to take me awhile to get 'all' of these installed, just not
sure I'll even use them at all the locations right now. I haven't
made up my mind...

Ah! like a ram air on a car...the breaking up part is just the need to adjust the A/F mixture correct? putting on a new coil, plug wires I got from you and the TTI's Weds. and then next month I'll be getting the High flow oil filter. I'm lov'n the look for sure

got my strut covers and turn signals back from coating, and installed.
Everything works right, so I buttoned it up. Just waiting for it to be a bit warmer to do the other half of the fronts.

Blacked out! painted the inside reflector too, but its still bright AF when the lights on.

so dark!

blacked out the brake light too, but only the sides, clear on the back - but blacked out the insides previously.
