New guy here GOING DARK
Hi all fairly new guy here been reading a lot about the dark side. I'm giving it a shot I have my ride on new 90 degree valve steams waiting on General tire.
I figured if I did not like it I can always go back. From what I have read I think I will like it. I will do it all myself and try to keep a report on how it all goes.
Thanks to all who have posted here I found good info here. Istill have not been able to find the damn cookies that suppose to be on the dark side. If
somebody could tell me where they are.

I have no experience with nitrogen, but I would think the same pressure as with air. But depending on the availability of nitrogen in your area might be a deciding factor. Like if it's not readily available, start with 42 to 44#. Then drop it in 2# increments to find the sweet spot. Otherwise if it is readily available. Then start at 32# raising or lowering the pressure to your sweet spot. Too mushy, raise the pressure. Too stiff, lower the pressure.
The sweet spot may be different among many riders riding the same year and model bike using the same tire purchased from the same lot, and running nitrogen. The air pressure of my rear tire is 38# currently because I do prefer a stiffer ride. If I'm going for a long road trip, I'll drop the air pressure to 34#. I hope that helps.

Sure does I usually have around 4 tanks around I do HVAC. I have run in previous race cars pressure don't rise like with air. If I ever need to air up on the road I can remove the air at home and recharge.I have remove the air from the shocks pressured with nitrogen. I cant tell a difference in the ride but I know I have no moisture in shocks or lines.
