Default Fresh hides

Needed tires for the bike so it was time to go dark. The front was showing some odd wear too so went ahead and did a set, with fresh pads. She’s good to roll miles for the spring.

That’s a factory 2016 16” touring wheel. Folks have been putting car tires on bikes for ages. I had a Coker white wall bias ply on my old Triumph from the 60’s. You only have to get as modern as you want. A Twin Cam is still cutting edge for me 😆 you can tell by my 2002 model truck that I don’t care for the newer stuff.

in fact, even the newest iteration of touring bike accepts this wheel so running the proven car tire sizes works out. Same chassis.

That’s going to require Google and a tape measure. I’m sure it’s been done before. That info is out there, I don't have it though. Sorry I can’t be more help for your particular fitment.

Never heard a tire called a hide. Regional, or just you? I was thinking deer hides.

Looks good! Love that you let your kid help, too. He'll remember that long after we're all gone.
