I am just gonna act like I am not here, you guys are killing me with all the selfless generosity. Just being there for Carolyn and I as I proceed on this journey has been more than enough and I humbly thank each and everyone of you for your goodness. I love everyone of ya’ll.

P.S. I need a new Fla. Crew hat because I was wearing mine the night I went down and nobody has seen it since….it was my favorite hat at the time.

 

This is kinda along the lines of what I was thinkin for option #2. There's not a whole lot of stuff.. mostly a few leather bottle holders.. something that looks like leather lever covers.. a nice travle bag that slips over the sissy bar (aka the back rest)... a ball cap.. the only things I'm seeing that could be bike specific is a led tail light... and an Andrews Knight Prowler W-6 Cam. Opps.. I mean the stock cam out of my Night Train! Just kiddin!! Granted, I don't know my internal parts too well, but it looks to be EVO specific... or for the old skool TC88 motors. The LED tail light appears to be for Softies, but then I only know Softails so it may fit any other for all I know. I think there may be more stuff on the way... I'll have to get with Dale.
As far as a date for the G2G.. it'll most likely be down the road when the weather is good.. maybe during a 3 day holiday weekend or something. Has yet to be determined. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to to get this stuff out to ya'll and still raise a decent penny for the cause. I also thought of opening it up HDF wide, but I figured most response would come from the Florida Crew as they/we all know JD well enough to dig into our wallets to help him out. Although this another option open for debate.

 

After much discussion, I think what we will do is divide everything we have into 7 "piles". I will post pics of each pile. You can buy 4 tickets for $20 (through the paypal account for Dave) and tell me which piles you want your tickets in. Still debating on wether to get real raffle tickets, or just write a name on a piece of paper. I don't want anyone to think we are "cheating".. so may go with the real raffle tickets, emailing each person their ticket numbers.

I think it should be HDForum wide, with a link to the thread in the FL Crew section...

Cool, Carolyn made it to the scene before they life flighted me but she did not see it, and I might not remember the accident but I know I had it on that night. Ain’t no telling what might have become of it.

 

I hope there's some Dyna stuff!!! There's NO WAY Brandy could get mad at me for spending money on the bike for this cause

 

I like and agree with the part about the beer....

 

I like the #3 option but #2 is good too.
We need to find a way to expand it outside the board to get more entries somehow.
