St. Augustine?
That's funny I was just thinking of posting the same question. We will be there the same time too.
GF has never been. It's been a long time for me. She wants beach front, balcony, Hampton Inn ...la de dah. I'm thinking something closer to Old St Augustine and cheaper but she's paying as it's my birthday.
Suggestions other than the Fort, Ripleys..?

Ha man don`t worry about the coast, get a room on the beach
We have stayed here a couple of times. It is walking distance from Old Town and the Trolleys stop there as well. The rooms up front and to the left have excellent Motorcycle parking. I love it over there. One of my favorite places. Make sure you take a ghost tour. http://www.hojo.com/hotels/florida/s...&iata=00065402
plenty of bed and breakfasts down town, and plenty beachside. @ nick68, if your coming up from kissimmee take the coast up, its as good as it gets IMO. if y'all give me an idea what your after i can get you a list(preferencr wise).
I'm told we are getting a place on the beach..... So she can get some sun. We live 5 minutes from the beach. I don't understand.
At least at this point I get to pick our route. Although my choice would be to spend the long weekend in Tenn. but I don't have a choice I guess.
