Eagle King reverse gear by anyone here.
So with age and failing knees, I thought at some point I’d add a reverse gear to my two wheeler. Knew Champion Reverse or Motor Trike would be me go to place to buy for a geared reverse. But I then bought a 2023 1/2 CVO Road Glide and it has a different transmission case than prior models and these two reverse makers have no close range plans to update their models to fit the new transmission.
so I happened across the Eagle King reverse gear that will fit my transmission. But know nothing about their reliability or anything on the company. Anyone here happen to know much about them or maybe even have this on your bike? It’s about 600-700 more bucks than the Champion or Motor Trike but at least theirs will fit my bike.

There are a few mechanical reverse systems on ebay that cover the 23/24 CVO years. They cost a whole lot less, and use the mechanical reverse, not an electric motor. Personally, I'd go with one of those before spending over 2 grand on an electric reverse by Dr Chen.
i certainly will look for them. If you ever happen to see them could you pm me a like to them. I really want a geared but the two manufacturers I mentioned seem to be in no hurry to produce them. Thanks a lot.

I was able to locate that kit on eBay and have requested the guy. Send me a PDF file the installation manual. Thanks a lot.

There are a number of them, but they almost all appear to be the same.

Use due diligence on figuring out if it will fit on your transmission, or not. I'm not an expert on sight identification, so I can't judge it.
I also accidentally looked it up on Amazon, and came across this:
It looks the same as the ebay ones, but it's so cheap I'm very suspicious.
With all of them, I'd expect low quality. The Champion kit I got some years ago was. But, a reverse gear barely gets used, and doesn't get used hard when you do engage it, so I doubt you'd ever have a problem with it failing. I did have troubles with mine, mostly the shift lever slipping on the shaft and not disengaging well. I ultimately fixed that with some red loctite.
A number of the kits do not include the electrical switch to kill the engine if you aren't in neutral. I never installed it on mine, and it wasn't a problem. Those few times I got distracted and engaged both, the engine simply stalled as I released the clutch, or I realized it and pulled the clutch back in before it stalled. No problems or damage ever resulted.
