Gol durn auto locks will trip you up this time of year as your warming the vehicle while you scrape off the snow .

I keep a window or door open to prevent this .

Last winter at work the wind blew my door shut , there went $25.00 to the nearby autoshop

with his bag of burglar tools

There is a method to disable the autlocks on the ford trucks , but now I have remote start so

the key stays in my pocket until I'm ready to go.

You didn't get me on that one JBAKER

Read about this a while back...a few of us got bored at work and tried it.

It didn't work on a Honda, Ford or Volkswagen and I'm willing to bet their not the only makes that it doesn't work on.

It might work on very old cars with remotes because they had an audible signal which could travel through the phone (sorta like a fax machine).
The newer remotes work on radio waves, which do not travel through a phone line.

Busted!
