I keep hearing about Posers, RUB's, want-to-be's, but I have yet to hear what a real biker is. So I am posting the following question, although it has probably been asked a million times already.

What is a real Biker?

I wouldn't have the slightest idea, I am a member of the Proud Posers.

Used to know one back when I worked for IBM. Izzy ALWAYS rode his bike, even if there was snow on the ground, and he did all his wrenching. That's two things that make a real biker IMHO

 

Well, I am definitely a poser...used to be a RUB until the market wiped out my 401k....which is now a 101k..........

But there was a time in my earlier years when my bike was my only vehicle and I spent many hours on it with a variety of females who enjoyed it as much as me. I was probably a biker then. But that is all just a faded memory.

Now I just ride between work and all the other responsibilities that waste my life.

 

someone who rides a bike!!!!!!!! now if ya want to know the meaning of the biker lifestyle then that is different, that is a dude who rides more then cages, wrenches on his own ****, lives a carefree life, dont give a **** what others do unless it affects him, takes care of business on his own, lives to ride and rides to live.

 

psshh this is an easy one.. lots of tatts, leather and just dont shave..ever!



Nah in seriousness.. I dont think there are defining characteristics as to what a biker is.. IMHO loving nothing more than riding your *** off makes you a biker..and of course on American made motorcycles

 

A real biker is a RUB Poser that rides a motorcycle.
