Default Wearing a full face helmet on a Harley ...Yea or Nay ?

It's such an odd sight seeing seeing a guy/gal wearing a full face helmet on a Harley, I thought only the MotoCross, dirt bike, crotch rocket, etc. crowd wore them? I'm guessing a full face helmet may be a good choice for the winter rider in the northern states no matter what type of bike?

If its the helmet in the picture then I agree. Otherwise I've seen plenty of FF helmets worn by HD riders. I wear one in the winter or rain.

Its all about CHOICE. Let those that ride decide. But I have both, a 1/2 helmet and a full face. SC is a choice state but surrounded by helmet states. Just depends on the weather which one I wear.

I do Half in warmer weather and Modular in Cold weather , it generates a bit more noise then a full but just seems easier to deal with in my old age

Half or nothing most of the time for me in PA, however, once mid October\November hits, the full face comes out. I don't care what anyone things, my face gets WAY too cold, even for one of those neoprene ski mask things.

I ride in Britain and only ever wear a Full Face. The wind and the rain are no longer a problem, and should I fall off I should still have a full face afterward.

Another helmet thread. There are no rules. Wear one or don't. No one else cares what you do.
