Well, kick my own *** this morning. Went out to one of the local creeks to pick up some rocks. Figured I got about 1/2 ton of them before I decided that was enough for one day. I'll just have to see how many of them move out of the truck today.
A bunch of the rocks are flat sandstone ones that I'm going to use to make a mailbox base with. Gonna act like a stone mason for a bit. Already bought a brass plate with the address on it to put on the side.
Ucan, I hope all goes well with your dad! Good to hear he is active and interactive. I think being alone contributed to my MIL's current state.

I couldn't agree more. When my Mother passed away, he lived in the town where I grew up and they had lived a lot of their lives. We are all too far away to visit every day. Most of their friends were gone and He was lonely and it showed. He finally moved back to the town that he was born in and his brothers and sisters still live. What a change. he got active again and looked better than he had in years. Then he got a girl friend and you know the rest of that story
