Default My first mission for Patriot Guard

Going on my first mission with the Patriot Guard Riders this Saturday to honor a Marine that has passed that was in the Vietnam war. Sad for the family but honored to be part of it. Any information from experienced PGR family members would be appreciated.

It is a great honor.

You can find a lot of information on the forum at: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/the-p...rd-riders-128/

Or the PGR website

Well, I have done countless missions. Mostly KIA, but a few other's. It's serious business, just remember that. You are there to honor the fallen and be respectful.

Thanks Sarah, I just saw there was a forum for PGR. That's where I should have posted this.

Welcome to the PGR. As Sarah mentioned, there is info on the PGR website. You won't find a better group of people, with a truely honorable cause.

Just be ready to stand proud in the sunshine, wear some large dark glasses, and have a response something like "It's my honor" when the family comes to thank you. Remember, you have been asked to honor their family member. Also one of our heroes .
You'll have a lot to think about later....
Welcome to one of the greatest honor movements you will ever find.

Agree on the sunglasses part. Doesn’t matter how many missions you go on, a military funeral is a tear jerker every time. Great honor and I try to get to as many as I can.
