This will be a fun thread. What do you carry to PGR missions?
This is what I carry every day, mission or not. (Remember I have a trike)
All my flags are 3 x 5.
Cotton USA flag (Heavy material for hwy speeds)
Nylon USA flag (Light so it flies better on parade speed missions)
Army
Navy
Air Force
Marine
Coast Guard
Blue Line
Red Line
POW
PGR
No, don't have a Space Force yet
(I always stage my flags before the mission so I can mount them quickly before a Rolling Honor Guard)
I fly small flags all the time on the tour pack along with a PGR stuffed Bear
Also carry:
PGR Hat
White Gloves
Cool Sleeves
Xtra cash
HooRag neck gaiters
1 qt extra fuel in a approved container
Mini compressor/inflator
Battery booster
Pocket knife
Toilet paper
Sun lotion
Rain gear
Weather conditional riding glasses
Riding gloves
Extra face masks
Salty snacks
Tool pouch
Microfiber towel and bike cleaner
Hand wet-wipes
Kleenex
Beach Towel (to dry my seat after a rain or cover the seat when needed)
Hospital grade plastic tub (I store stuff inside to keep everything contained)
Ride Capt clipboard filled with New Member Info Packs and mission pins
Angel coins
Generic Condolence Card
Thank you cards to give to LEO
Bungie cords
Blue Tooth speaker (In case Honors doesn't show up or bugle doesn't work I'll play TAPS from my phone)
First Aid kit
Small roll of duct tape
Bic lighter (to burn the frayed edges of my flags to keep them from unraveling)
Plus some other small stuff everyone carries and I still have room to store two half helmets in the tour pac.
I also carry a fully folded 5 x 9.5 casket flag incase, well, just in case Gumby joins us as he does so often... and yes, I've had to give it to the family before.
I know this sounds like a lot to carry and most bikes can't but if something breaks on a mission I can usually fix it.
Dang; I may need a trailer if I had to carry all that!
You listed some stuff that's specific to PGR and some that's more general. I don't have a lot of room, so I have to be selective on what I carry.
I have a clear plastic compartmentalized container with: 3-4 angel coins, 5-10 new mission pins, a Georgia challenge coin, two spare hitch pins for my flag holder, two spare shackles for my flags and 5-10 of my personal poker chips.
I also carry a Ride Captain's hat, two spare do-rags for when I'm not leading a mission, white gloves, two American flags (primary and backup) and a handful of wire ties, "just because". I have service flags mounted to static poles and stored in a separate bag so, like you, I get what I need before a mission and place that in my flag bag and strap that over the passenger pillion before I leave in the morning. Otherwise, all my flags live at home. Also, when I 'm leaving for a mission, I have to prepare the mission briefing (I have a Word template and update it for every mission), as well as a condolence card and a small 5x9 clipboard and pen to pass around.
Outside of that, my every-day hoard includes rain gear, a pair of spare gloves, a bungee net, a couple of bottles of water, a jar of roasted peanuts, some beef jerky and a couple of "dew rags" to keep the bike neat. That's pretty much all I have with me every day.
On one mission while I was mounting my Army flag the condolence card was making it's rounds. It said Navy on the card. Hummmm Card was printed incorrectly, Army was correct after checking mission notes. Ever since that day I and others keep a Generic Condolence card on board. We have also lost cards due to rain so it seems like a good idea to carry an extra.
Holy buckets! I guess I'm in for an education. I got flagpoles, flags, two vests (one textile, one leather) covered with PGR patches and thought I was done. Was worried guys would look at me on my 1st mission next week with my new vest, pristine patches and three virgin flags flying and just smile at the store bough civilian.

Rub some dirt on those vests... no one will notice you are new. (Actually no one will care that you are new, respect to the vet and family is what is all about)

Yup... I believe several of us do. Sometimes Honors will not be there but we are. We sometimes use our parking lot time to practice folding.
