Default Today’s mission:

22* when I left the house on the bike this morning.

Just when you think you’ve seen it all:

Husband (Army Sgt - 2 tours VietNam) passed in early NOV, wife passed in July.
Wife was supposed to be creamated, but due to their limited funds, a Go Fund Me was set up for the wife’s creamation.
They accumulated enough for the service to be performed, then found out the son had access to the funds, withdrew everything, and skipped town.

The funeral home caring for the husband, found out, and covered all expenses (prep/casket/
incidentals) for the wife so they could be interred together today.

There are still good folks out there. 👍🇺🇸

Default Sad story with a happy ending

Good on you to be there in support. Such a sad story about the son/family, as who else do you have? Fortunately a turn of events that shows all is not lost, happened that paid respects. Again, thank you for making it such.

I used to do those rides but like all things in a large city, Phoenix metro, things get in the way and I personally don’t use social media.
