Default 2014 road king excessive motor vibration?

Just bought a new 2014 road king (standard model). I knowthe 103 motor is rubber-mounted to the frame and has no counter-balancers in itlike the softail models do. And I know it will vibrate pretty good sitting at astop sign. But sometimes it REALLY vibrates big time sitting at a stop sign. Imean the vibration feels like it’s going thru your whole body. I thinksometimes my teeth are rattling. Is this normal for this road king model? Theengine does smooth out very nice on the highway though, almost as smooth as anold Goldwing bike I used to have. Just want to know if this vibration I’mtalking about is a normal thing for this bike or if there’s a problem with it.The road king only has about 350 miles on it so far.

If its overly hot EITMS mode kicks in the shake and sound I'm told is noticeable but I cant say as though mine has ever kicked in even when riding for hours and stopping when in the 90s.
My 14 has hardly any vibration and is so smooth at a stop that I can feel my phone mounted on bars vibrate the hand grip when a notification comes through.

Does not sound normal, But holding the front brake on does make the bike shake, you may try sitting at the light and use just the foot brake and report back.

A few weeks ago I went back to a RK after riding a Softail for a while and the vibration was very noticeable. An A motor is going to shake at idle. Might be my imagination but my bike seemed to smooth out a little after about 1000 miles.

Yep, release the front brake and it will stop.

Yep...that King does some shakin'!

The mrs. kind of likes to go riding around the neighborhood more often (we have a lot of stop signs) so that's a plus I guess...

For me its not very bad...at stops the left floorboard rattles and clanks...

but after doing the 1k it seems to have smoothed out...

a few years on a softail now I feel like im back on a real HD!

And relax a little, loosen your grip a bit... a deathgrip on the bars will bring more of it through your teeth

I have a 14 RK, yes, the engine jumps around quite a bit at idle. If concerned stop by your dealer.
