Has anyone re-located their license plate on a Road King?

If I remove the plate, the bar that it attaches to will remain. I'm not sure how this would look with that bar removed. It does not look to be structural, aside from the license plate bracket.

Thinking about moving it down below the taillight.

I used the softbrake plate. And moved it below the taillight like a SG. I had to order a new laydown taillight lens from J&P as well as a LED bulb. I really like it and left the bar. When I have my tourpak on you don't even notice it

 

Maybe you could fit the rear light bar from the newer models. Mine has the plate just below the bar stock.

 

Where do i get that emblem that covers the holes on the rear bar?

 

This is really what I'm after.
