here's the jp cycles setup.

(pic deleted for brevity)
You think that bracket will work with the RK customs blinker bar? Do you have to drill into the fender or are there holes there for the bracket?

Thanks!

Tim

PM's sent!!!

No drilling require to install the brackets, just remove the bar and bolt in place.

I don't have any clue on RK's, but if the rear is that same as a and E-glide, then it should work.

Here's another pic of the bracket installed for those want to see it (still needs the top bolts in place).

For those of you who have done this with the J&P kit, what did you use to plug the holes left by removing the license plate bar?

I did not use the J&P kit, in my case, I modifiedthe old styleluggage rack to become a quick release unit, so I can pop the tour pac on and off when I want.

To cover the holes in the frame rails, I went to Sears H/W and bought two black nylon plugs for a couple of buck and pushed them in. They are flat and black in appearance and blend right into the bike.

Nice! I like cheap fixes. Thanks for the input.

I just took a grinder to the existing bracket. Drilled it for a bullet light wire to go through.
Rigged up a bullet light with a chrome washer for a finished look.

You can buy the bracket you are making from from JP Cycles.

I bought this laydown license plate with the tag light facing down.

Does the J.P. bracket still allow you to have the bottomREAR light or does it cover it ?

Thanks ....

Hi,
Look at "y2k king"s bike in this thread, he has the same set-up that I am purchasing. He is the one that gave me the part number.
