Plate re-location.....Help

Just eliminated the plate bar on my 06 Ultra.....and now I can't decide on where to locate my plate??? I know I should've planned this ahead of time, but I didn't think this would be a tough decision....the only real option I like is a set up with a bracket coming off the rear fender tip light with the plate above it....but damn! $160. for that set-up!! I"m sure many of you have run across this same problem.....with so many DIY's here, I figure someone has got an idea I could use.............Thanks Guys!

I used the Soft Brake set up. It looks really good but was a PITA to install. What did you install in place of the original plate bar?

I made mine out of a piece of 1/16 tin that I had. It's mounted on rubber bushings with carriage bolts. You can get the same kind of mount from Dennis Kirk or JP Cycles for around $40..... Oh, and the tailight is from DK, laydown style with light underneath.

Thanks guys.....I'll have it on there today....even if I have to use duct tape!!......its up to 34 degrees......time for the first ride of 08.......

I just did the Kury thang today.....Very high quality stuff. Absolutely everything and more included too. The LED lights are super brite and if you ask me, HD should have put the plate there to start with.
