I have a 2014sgs and I'm looking to upgrade the seat. According to hd the 08-15 flh all have the same seat. I've been looking at used seats on ebay and others sites and I see several seats listed as 08-up seats but they have a metal tab on the front of the seat, mine doesn't. My seat has a hole in it and a tab on the frame that goes into the seat. Are they off on application or does that tab hook under the tab on my frame? Thanks for the help.

 

My understanding is the '14 and up models are different.

 

I put an 11 seat on a 14, fits, i think it may be 09, and up, but could be wrong, but the 11 definately fits

+1 on Mean City. I had them modify my Heritage seat and they did a great job. My Ultra seat will be there in January or February, when the weather is coldest. VERY well worth the money.

 

I put a 2013 Road/Street Glide seat on my 2014 Road King when I first got it. '09 -'15 fit. Not sure about the '08. It's got the 6 gal gas tank, different rear fender.
