Does anyone know what color wires in the harness under the seat are for the rear brake light? I bought one of those brake light modulators and need to splice into the 12V lead running to the brake light. I own the service manual and tried to figure it out from the main harness diagram, but I'm no electrical engineer and that thing just confused the hell out of me. I have a 2006 Street Glide if that matters any. Thanks.

 

I have an 04 FLHTCI and on the fold out page in the back titled Ing,tail,passing, fender,directional and tour-pack = Open that , Mine has Taillamp in bold with BK - R/Y - O/W -BEW

Brake light is R/Y = Red and Yellow
Running is O/W and BEW
of course BK is ground..

 

I Have an 07 FLHTC and my Manual reads the same as Harley0711.

word to the wise, disconnect the module under the seat BEFORE you snip or solder, no blown fuse to must with your head

Im doing a stretch rear fender conversion on my 2005 Harley Electra Glide and im having trouble with the double tail light as in getting the both brake lights to light up at the same time. We have running lights, turn signal but can only get one brake light to work.
Does any one know what color wires will give me brake lights?
