Default vented lowers

Anyone running the vented lowers on their RK, SG, or EGS? Are they too hot in the summer. Are they worth the price?

Running Vented H-D lowers on my RK.

Great in winter. I intend on keeping them into the summer. Here in Virginia, weather gets quite hot. Have not had them on in much of last years heat, so I let you know. I don't expact very much adverse effects.I don't expectthatI'll get much blast of hot air directly onme. The way that I look at it I don't think thatwill be too much problem, blasting hot air is not that bennificial either. This I think will ballance out having them on!

ditto what ram said. just to add ,the hd 4 position adj.fairing air baffles can "lock"in positions to direct air on you in summer as well as block air in cold. Im thinkin this will "offset" much of the lowers during hot weather?

I have them on my 06 Ultra. I have already ridden one summer with them and have no intentions of taking them off. I might get a liitle more air without them, but the Ultra looks undressed without them, and I have not had a problem with heat in the summer.

I used them at the end of last summer. (when I got them)

I didn't have any adverse effects in the hotter days. I will have to wait and see, but honestly I think I gotmore "reflected"air when the vents were open. We'll see soon......Wisconsin sucks!!

Hot, Cold.....who cares. It looks goodto me, lets ride brother!!!

I have a 2007 FLHTC and put them on shorty after. I live up in the northwest and they are great. Will find out this summer if there's a heat issue but doubt it.

I bought the non-vented for my 1984 FLHTC Liberty some years ago. I liked the price enough to like the non-vented. I took them in the summer... I was sure what it would do to the motor in the Arizona heat.

This will be my second summer with them on, I just open up the vents and ride, I haven't had any problems either.
