Probably a dumb chrome question...
I'm looking to add a bunch of chrome to my '07 Ultra around the area of the engine (primary, trans cover, etc.). The question that I have is that on Harley's site and in their catalog, for P/N 16326-02, Chrome Engine Kit for Twin Cam Toruing Models (I know this doesn't necessarily fit an '07, but I am just using it to ask my question), it says "Upgrade your silver polished motor to the brilliance of chrome." and shows an outer primary cover as well as all of the other parts included. I went out and checked my bike, and the parts that are already there are a shiny metal that I honestly always thought was chrome. Is it chrome or is it polished silver, and will the two match if put side by side, or do I have to spend a bunch more $$ to avoid two-toned metals?
Thanks,
Sean
Thanks,

Harley has two engine colors. Polished Aluminum and Chrome / Black Powder Coat. If you have an Ultra Classic you have chrome / black unless it is an SVO or SE bike. Most of these come with polished engine. I hope that answers your question.
Yup, like Lype stated, you don't need that package as you already have all that chrome on your bike stock that package sells. Your bike is chromed, not polished. Now you can get a chromed INNER PRIMARY cover. This is not a stock item on your bike as well as a ton of other trinkets that will cost a small fortune when all said and done.
Thanks for the replies, was already looking at the inner primary, which is what really started this, plus the new trans-> engine cover and all thepieces - I think my wishlist on harley's site is about 3 pages long....
Thanks again for the quick and informative replies. I'm still kind of new to this, can ya tell?
