I just put them on my 07 Ultra. I also have daymaker headlight and passing lamps. I think they are awesome. I have had a couple people look at the bike and say, damn those are bright. I said, yep, thats the whole idea.
I also pulled up behind a kid driving a car at a stop light one night, and he began yelling stuff out the window at me about how bright it was and to turn that **** off. I was about ready to get off the bike and go whisper in his ear to ingest a richard when the light turned. Mine are white, and then the blinker is on they turn yellow. Dont remember what they are called.

One thing that I have noticed about mine is that they do light up the ground in front of the bike. That helps for slow moving in a parking lot or such to see anything that might be a problem.

They're bright enough that it's hard to get a decent picture of how the ring looks, but like SafetyMan says, they aren't meant to project a driving light.
