front brakes
have a roadking (07) 11,000mi. front brake pads seem to drag on rotor. if i pUll the brake lever slightly it stops. brakes work fine but the friction noise from the pad to the rotor came out of nowhere in the last week or two.
any insight appreciated.

Thats been the biggest complaint since the 4 piston calipers came out in 2000. Its pretty normal for these brakes to do that. Never heard of them starting after 11,000 miles. The normal fix is to switch the rotors from side to side. Left on right, right on left. If you have 11,000 on those pads I would change them at the same time.
so hogdoc, switching the rotors will quiet the drag noise? I heard it should be done to stop the sqeel, but the drag issue is the firstI have heard of it being a fix. My 05rk custom has that dragging noise. I have not switched the rotors, but plan to. The sqeel is gone after hd techs put in some type of foam. I was going to switch them anyways, but now, if it stops the drag, I really need to get it done.
